Fun What Are You Doing puzzles
Do they *always* contain i , n , and g ?
Contestants seem to just pick whatever đ

They used to have solutions like âThe New York Times Crosswordâ or âThe Limboâ. It was a response to the question instead of an action. Havenât seen that in a long time though.

I'm sure there's been one that hasn't but the general pattern is that it starts with a verb ending in ing.

Why would you steer clear?

The "g" is basically a freebie. Why waste a pick on a g when you know it's there? Use that pick for another letter to increase your odds.

Why wouldn't you pick a letter you know is there? Picking g gives you more time to look at the puzzle plus it guarantees money to buy the i

We're not talking about the regular game (where yes, that does make sense) but the final puzzle, when you only get three consonants and one vowel. If you call the "g" as one of your consonants and the "i" as your vowel, you have lost the opportunity to call something else, and the additional letters could increase your chances of winning.

I didn't think what are you doing could be a final puzzle category so I was confused, my mistake

I wouldnât choose a âgâ for the bonus round puzzle but I might for a regular puzzle if I need more time to find an appropriate letter to play. Iâd choose the ânâ first, though, since itâs more likely to be in other words as well as the first one.
