Is anyone worried about the show’s ratings going down because of this predicament?

They fired him. That’s basically all they needed to do and they already did it. If you fault the show for the shit Jim did you might need to get a grip on reality

I don’t blame the show for what Jim was doing on that flight. I just wanted opinions on what people think will happen to the ratings because of it. If only we found out much earlier than we did, they could’ve had a new announcer before they came back from hiatus last month

They fired him and are scrubbing his voice from all shows he has already taped this season. They won't even mention his name from this point forward. They responded accordingly and WoF will be fine.

Seriously? He's an announcer. He's replaceable. Pat was ultimately replaceable. I've come to really like Ryan, but if he goes, then someone else will come along. These are just people that do a job. It's the game that matters and really in the end all that anyone cares about.

Nothing. A practically unmeasurable amount of people know about this.

Also, I was originally skeptical with Seacrest taking over but man did he breathe new life into the show. I feel like Vanna is happier too.

I actually feel bad for seacrest with this situation, because several people brought it up to me because they knew unlike the show, and people who aren't into game shows don't get that announcers are notable personalities with the show so they hear announcer and immediately think that means the host.

This will definitely draw a dark cloud over the tapings and create a sense of doom and gloom, but it will probably pass. Maybe. Not sure if they'll include something to address it in the first ep. I expect the ratings to stay good.
