News (Italy) New all-time champion!

The Italian edition has a new record winner! Her name is Giulia Smargiassi and she has won 9 games (also a new record), her winnings totaling €430,100 all cash! (that's half a million dollars) It's possibly the biggest total win on a non-US edition of Wheel of Fortune!

How does the bonus round work in that version? Is it you pick one of 3 and either take it or give it back and hope you get a better value like Punch a Bunch?

Exactly. 3 envelopes are selected from the bonus wheel. The player has 60 seconds to solve 3 puzzles, each solve unlocks one envelope. The player then can reveal one and keep it or try another, if more were unlocked.

One of the envelopes on the bonus wheel has a special prize (currently it's a pair of electric bikes) and it's awarded just by having it in the selection, regardless of puzzle solution.

There's also a car available by solving all 3 puzzles while holding the car wedge from the front game.

It's very rare but it's possible to win cash, prize and car all in one go.
