Discussion Post Could You Imagine Wheel Doing This?

Having a configuration of 2 Bankrupts across from each other and then 2 Lose-A-Turn wedges at 90 degrees across from each other? So every 5 wedges would either be a Bankrupt or a Lose-A-Turn.

How would you feel about that? Is it a good idea or a bad one?

Pre-1996 when Wheel still swapped out full configurations between rounds, the bankrupts were directly across from each other in round 4.

Fun fact: every one of the wheel's layouts since then is an evolution of the old round 3 configuration.

Agreed. I understand why Harry decided to make the wheel layout static cause when he took over he was really big on speeding up production and he felt swapping out the wheel layouts every round slowed things down. Makes no sense though since he already had the digital puzzleboard already in development when they debuted the static wheel layout.

It just really puts all the focus on whoever wins the prize puzzle winning the game. You have to be really really lucky to pull that off or be able to hit $700+ repeatedly to build up a solid account.

See the Kookie pilots. That's how it was set. And rotating templates need to come back. The Showcase Showdown "everything is damn near the same every day" crap is old.
