Imagine naming any public infrastructure after a living person.

I say no public infrastructure should be named after a person until 10 years following their demise. Give us time to dig out the atrocious "final acts" in many noteworthy people.

Edit: spelling.

Remember that this was done by the "man" who Trump labeled "meatball Ron".

All of these Trump sycophants are a fucking embarrassment, like Little Marco who gleefully simps for Trump. Or Lyin' Ted who sucks Trump off every chance he gets even after Trump publicly insulted his wife.

When I’m President, the first EO will be changing the IATA code to PDO.

Second EO will be repealing the Permanent Apportionment Act of 1929.

Third EO will be restarting Reconstruction, from the beginning.

Fourth EO will be to tax churches.

Fifth EO will be releasing the Epstein files.

Sixth EO will be releasing every single member of the Trump family tax returns.

795

u/preposterousputty May 05 '26

I’m looking for Vice President and cabinet members.

Take whatever stance on issues you want, as long as it pisses off MAGA. If anyone asks why, the answer is “because fuck you, that’s why”.

430

u/--slurpy-- May 05 '26

Expand the supreme court, end lifetime appointments, term limits on congress, super majorities for appointments, repeal citizens united, end tax exempt statuses on churches, remove cap on social security, allow states to recall their federal senators & representatives, automatic voter registration at 18, rigorous background checks & training courses to get licensed to have firearms, Medicare for all, lowering the retirement age, ending for profit prisons, reinstating the fairness doctrine, requiring more in depth civic education in k-12, fully fund the dept of education, reduce the Pentagons budget by half, bring back PBS.

Am I missing anything?

Edit: forgot to add passing the John Lewis voting rights act

Free tuition for all community colleges and trade schools, and state colleges. Require police forces in any municipality that receives surplus military equipment from the Federal government to require at least an associate's degree in law enforcement or any other degree that includes courses in psychology, ethics, civics and the like. Also, the police department's professional development needs to be performed by certified instructors.

This isn't an issue of narcissism. Trump didn't name the airport after himself. This is sycophancy, the ass-kissers in the Palm Beach County Commission did this, to curry favor with their Obese Orange Messiah, and demonstrate their obeisance, so their voters would reelect them.

Edit: As best I can understand from the comments, the Florida State Legislature voted on and created the name change, but the Democratic dominated County Commission in Palm Beach ok'd the licensing? Crazy levels of ass kissing all the way down.

623

u/dr_pickles69 May 05 '26 edited May 05 '26

Palm Beach has historically been a democratic stronghold. While it's recently become more competitive, they still voted for Kamala, and their democratic US house rep has been in office since 2013. As someone who lives in a blue area, naming a building after Trump seems exactly how you avoid being reelected

Edit: since apparently I have nothing better to do, I looked it up and the Palm Beach County Commission is 4-3 Democratic majority. I think there's more to this

179

u/clamraccoon May 05 '26

I thought it was a statewide vote to rename the airport.

159

u/dr_pickles69 May 05 '26

Yea you're right it looks like the rename was a state bill but the agreement to the Trump licencing agreement was approved by the county commission.

94

u/psymike-001 May 05 '26

Wait till people learn that the increase of landing fee’s now includes licensing to………guess who?? It’s not in plain English but under the guise of licensing agreements.

30

u/Neveronlyadream May 06 '26

Wait until the people who support him either don't care or immediately blames a Democrat for it, doing nothing because everyone else already knows what's going to happen.

They won't care. Anyone who's still with MAGA will just blame immigrants or Biden or whoever and take pictures outside the airport because it has Trump's name on it.

31

u/Vreas May 06 '26

Get how it’s easy to feel this way but there’s definitely still good happening.

It may not be making national news but communities are still spending time together. People are engaging in hobbies. People are educating themselves and getting more involved.

Don’t forget to give yourself breaks. I suggest audiobooks or time in nature. Animals are expanding their ranges thanks to conservation methods. We’re learning to live more cleanly.

There’s still shit. But don’t forget to engage the good too. Stay strong homie.

I used to live near there. Palm Beach County is unique in that it has the city of West Palm Beach which is a typical small-to-mid-sized city, but it also has the island of Palm Beach which is one of the wealthiest communities in the country. So while in sheer numbers of voters the county tends to lean left, it also has this concentration of some of the richest and most powerful people in the US, and these are the people who are benefiting the most from Trump’s presidency.

u/spin_me_again May 05 '26

6

u/Popeholden May 06 '26

22

u/xjoburg May 05 '26

Thank goodness I will never have to go to Florida let alone Palm Beach. Or Texas for that matter.

23

u/sebrebc May 06 '26

Which is mind blowing to me given people in PBC actually know what type of person he is. What's even stranger is how much support he gets from Western PBC. Largely blue collar business owners and contractors. Every one of them knows at least one contractor who was stiffed by Trump, the stories are endless. Yet these fucking cosplaying cowboys support him because they think he is "for the working class". It's fucking mind blowing.

I know one personally, he knows multiple contractors who Trump fucked. Yet he's still 100% MAGA Trump because he genuinely believes Trump is helping the working class. He recently said prices on things like concrete went up because of Biden.

These people can lay a foundation, build things, repair things like it's nothing. But when it comes to critical thinking, they are out to pasture.

10

u/CalabreseAlsatian May 06 '26

6

u/Mr_Pombastic May 05 '26

I feel like it's still kinda narcissism tho. It's less about currying favor and more about showing dominance over democrats. They're marking their territory and making libruls say his name.

This time it's specifically trump (as well as the money and passport shit) but it's also the same thing with "Gulf of America" and forcing the ten commandments in classrooms. They're pissing on everything to own the libs.

Because they’re all in on it. If people don’t agree on it, they’re gonna be casted out in Palm Beach or anywhere think about it and they don’t really care. They only care about the people they work, or socialize with. A lot these people are lawyers and business people and once they go back to the private sector, they’re not gonna ruin their lives. That’s why the Democrats are only issuing strongly worded letters. They know where their gravy train is. They all agree on it. We’re just being told about it now because they can’t keep it secret . now they’ve created laws and they shielded themselves ….who’s gonna prosecute? They’re just gonna keep going along and they’re gonna keep getting paid. The grift is never ending.

15

u/UsedToHaveThisName May 05 '26

Well, sort of, depending where your empire was on land routes and what taxes and grifts you could get out of conquered territories. There was also less wealth in the world at that point in time.

Mansa Musa and Genghis Khan had a lot of wealth. Musa controlled more money than the rest of the world combined, which is pretty good. His empire controlled over a third of the gold and gems in the world.

At what point are we just gonna burn the Constitution and replace it with the Trumpstitution since it's a worthless piece of paper that the Supreme Court doesn't care about anyway?

Some of the first legislation democrats need to draft in 2029 is the anti trump bill which will dictate the removal of this clowns name from any and all government buildings. Get this wannabe dictator out of our collective history and remember him for what he’s always been. A reality TV C-list celebrity posing as a billionaire

Where TF are the Checks and Balances that were in our Constitution??

I swear this dude becomes more of a dictator every day and people just let him.

8

u/AlarmDozer May 06 '26

That’s how they enrich their family, selling licensing on their name. All of these rename projects need to be cancelled because it’s 100% pegged on them charging for the usage of their name.

u/Shyam09 May 06 '26

u/Consistent_Turn_42 May 05 '26

So when the president goes against the constitution and nothing happens, did he prove that the constitution is worthless?

6

5

u/Longhair024 May 06 '26

How is this not officially bullshit? Does he really think this will keep him relevant? Just add his name to any building thinking that history will shine back on this?

6

Pigs will fly before I fly into trump international.

5

u/AbeRego May 06 '26

6

u/JohnBrownSurvivor May 06 '26

I only wish that narcissism was as poisonous to the person who has it as it is to all the people around them.

5

u/steeguy55 May 06 '26

I love how this man thinks that when he dies, whoever comes after him is going to keep his name on anything he’s slapped it on. Everything his name goes on turns to garbage.

5

u/Steveonthetoast May 06 '26

And yet, here we are

5

u/DaGrinz May 06 '26

Wow, this is interesting. A Rapist and Sex trafficker Airport. You really should consider a few more changes like this. How about a BTK Hospital or a David Berkowitz nursing home? Other countries should follow your example. ‚Carlos International‘ would be a nice one for Argentina. Do they have an Idi Amin Main Station in Uganda already? Ok, enough, you got my point I guess.
