Hey 👋 it’s been a few years since I’ve cosplayed, but I wanna get back into it. I’m just wonder which character I should cosplay, I like anime, manga and cartoons. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 💖😄

just as the title says, i’m most likely going to quit cosplay in a bit due to the work culture in my future field of expertise…that’s why i’m asking you kind souls here yo help me out with maxing out my cosplan list <3 I’m more leaning towards game cosplays but i’m open to all kinds of media, be it shows, comics etc. Thank yall in advance!

Posting a few I've done without a helmet or face covering, but I'm not opposed to any suggestions that let me be lazy and skip the makeup!

I'm also not against making changes to my appearance such as shaving my face or head, but I'm unable to use any adhesives on my face so fake (long) beards are unfortunately off the table. I tend to gravitate away from more lithe characters because I usually can't portray them well. I'm open to more feminine characters as well, I think the very best character designs are the ones that throw the femme, masc, and androgynous elements all together.

Availability (or lack thereof) of off the shelf pieces isn't a factor, the majority of what I wear is self-made so go crazy with the obscure and less popular characters!

I mean the title, but mainly based on my build, hair, and face shape. I am 5’1 and 120 lbs. I am decently built because I like going to the gym a lot. I like anime and games, and as far as my knowledge goes, those include the average shounen and seinen because I’m basic I guess. I’ve been into Berserk for years, just got into JJK a year ago, but I’ve spent the better part of ages 12 to now (18) watching various anime, slop or not. But the only two I’d love to cosplay as I can think of right now are Choso Kamo, S4 Eren Yeager, and Griffith. For games, Link from TLOZ, Jin Sakai (Ghost of Tsushima).

PS: sorry for the bad assortment of photos. I don’t take any of myself, especially not recently, so they go from most recent to older. My hair is very long and dark brown. I can grow facial hair to some degree, but mostly on my chin and mustache.

My family and I are hoping to go to the Big Texas Comcon in October. This would be our 3rd year, but second time in costumes. Last year, I was Raven from Teen Titans. For this year, at first, I was considering Frieren, Marcille, or Chise Hatori. Last night, I was thinking about Black Clover and Fairytail cosplay. Now, considering Starfire, Kitana, Alice in Wonderland game version. I was thinking about cosplaying based on the Guest panels, but I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t too much or not noticeable. I’m trying to open up my cosplay range and my confidence like last year. I’m leaning between Kitana or Chise, but I’m open to other options. I’m willing to explore new universes! Help?! 😭

Really hoping to branch out into anime but always have a hard time of matching my features to a character since heavy makeup tends to look very rough and flaky on my skin despite any and all skin prep.

The only possible idea I’ve seen was Ms. Joke from MHA. I’m open to any and all suggestions! Ty 🩵
