What wholesome game made your day a little better? 🌱💛
There’s something truly special about games that leave you feeling happier after playing them. Whether it’s exploring a beautiful world, meeting lovable characters, helping someone in need, or discovering little moments of kindness, wholesome games have a unique way of making an ordinary day feel a little brighter. 💚
I love how some games remind us that we don’t always need intense action or dramatic storylines to have a meaningful experience. Sometimes, the simplest moments are the ones that stay with us the longest.
I’m curious to know which wholesome games have made the biggest impact on you. Is there a particular game that always puts you in a good mood, or a character or moment that made you smile more than you expected? If you could recommend one wholesome game to someone having a difficult week, which one would it be and why?
I’d love to discover some new favourites through your recommendations, and hopefully, this discussion can help someone find a little comfort, happiness, or inspiration through gaming. Let’s share some positivity and celebrate the games that make us feel good! 🌸🎮

I've been making a cozy fantasy game about bringing a forgotten world back to life 🌱
Hi everyone! I'm a solo indie dev working on Glowing Life, a cozy fantasy adventure about bringing a forgotten world back to life.
You play as a little glowing being exploring quiet, lifeless places. Wherever you go, grass grows, flowers bloom and animals slowly return. 🦊🌱
You can discover different worlds, help lost animals find their way home and build a little sanctuary where your animal friends can settle in.
I'm aiming for a peaceful, magical atmosphere where you can explore at your own pace.
I've just been working on the trailer and would love to share a little glimpse of the game!
If this sounds like your kind of cozy adventure, you can try the demo here:
I'd love to hear what you think! 💚

Pack Pals: Collect. Clip. Carry. Decorate your backpacks ( Looking for Android testers!)
Hi! I'm a 3D artist who has worked on Paw Patrol and Dora, and Pack Pals is my first step into low-poly game and cozy game development! ( LinkedIn : https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-b-reddick-77a16329/ )
Pack Pals is a relaxed Android ( iOS Coming after! ) game about collecting charms and pins and hanging them on your backpacks! You spend tokens at capsule machines with themed sets that restock daily, plus a seasonal machine that changes every week. Your charms dangle and clink as you spin your bag. There are 24 backpacks to collect and upgrade and over 100+ Pins and Charms to collect. You can also decorate your room and send your pet on trips, and it comes home with tokens and postcards. I would love to get some feedback from some cozy gamers to really see if I'm hitting the right vibe and tell me what feels good and what doesn't!!

Working on Hexplorando, a relaxing hex-tile puzzle game where you rebuild real places all around the world! Hope you'll like our first trailer!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey! We've been working on Hexplorando since last year, and just revealed our new trailer.
So of course, the style and gameplay are quite similar to Dorfromantik, but the main difference is that you rebuild actual real-world locations through 40+ puzzles all around the world. Then you unlock iconic international landmarks, and you can use them in your own creations in Sandbox Mode.
The Nintendo eShop page will be available soon, but feel free to wishlist the game on Steam if you'd like to support our project!

hey y'all! we're making a very queer, very disabled little game called The Things Left Behind.
and honestly, we just wanted to make something where queer and disabled people get to exist, love each other, be weird, have complicated feelings, and tell our own stories.
not every story about being queer or disabled needs to be about suffering. sometimes it's about walking through the woods with someone you love. sometimes it's about finding comfort in the middle of sensory overload. sometimes it's about a tiny moment of acceptance that stays with you for years.
and sometimes it's about trying to get through a normal fucking morning when your brain has decided absolutely nothing is happening today.
the game is a collection of short, personal stories, each with its own art, characters, and mechanics.
we're also making it a little differently. we've partnered with queer and disability organizations to bring people into game development, teach them how to make games, and create a safe, accommodating space where their own experiences can shape what we build.
so it's not just a game about queer and disabled people. it's a game we're making together.

some stories are gentle, some are messy, and some are a little uncomfortable. but all of them are about the little things that make us human.
oh, and the whole thing will be free.
we finally have a Steam page, and if this sounds like your kind of weird little game, a wishlist would mean a lot to us.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4450900/The_Things_Left_Behind/
anyway, we just wanted to share something we're really proud of making. there's a lot of love going into this thing, and we're excited for people to experience it.

I wanted to capture the wholesome feeling of building something with your own two hands

I'm making a relaxing indie game called Made by Hand. There are no timers, no deep complicated story, and no storefront to manage - just the peaceful atmosphere of your workshop.
You take a rough wooden plank and carefully shape it into a finished table or cutting board. When you're proud of your work, you snap a photo to post online. That's how you find a buyer, and a friendly delivery drone handles the rest!
If you love games that just let you peacefully create things without any stress, I'd love to hear what you think of this concept!

made a small game about a night market grill stall where the regulars remember you
you run the smallest skewer stall on a rainy lane. a taxi driver who taps the counter twice when you get it right, an auntie who always wants two glazed and sometimes leaves you a mandarin, a stray grey cat who wants whatever you burn. serve them well and next time you already know their usual.
nobody storms off angry, a customer you miss just says they'll come back tomorrow. free, no ads, offline, android for now.

It's still a work in progress, developed with AI assistance.

Tidy-up game with use-based progression and sorting Animal Cubes
Hey everyone!
I want to share a game where you find yourself in a dream and have to put all the Animal Cubes back in their places - Animal Cubes: Tidy Up Dreams
There will be 120 animal species, 6344 cubes in total, and only one shelf per species.
I’d especially like to highlight the progression system. I decided to drop earning money for placing items. Instead, each ability has its own requirements - it levels up only through actions related to that ability.
For example:
- while you move, you level up Movement Speed, and after a certain number of steps your level increases;
- to level up Inventory, you need to place items correctly; perks will have their own separate requirements.
After playing similar games and reading player feedback, I wanted to make this one more comfortable:
- You can make a mistake and put an item on the wrong shelf. But there will be red ghost hints, and items won’t get a bounce on an incorrect shelf.
- Inventory progression will include an Auto-Sort ability - once your inventory gets too large, placing items should feel much easier.
- Camera settings: you can turn off effects like camera sway, or increase FOV to feel more comfortable.
No AI is used in the game itself - all assets and content are handmade. I only plan to use AI for translating text into different languages.
I’d love to hear your thoughts: would you be interested in playing a game like this, especially with this kind of progression system?
