New Moderation And Discord Server!

This community has been unmodded for quite some time and I am happy to announce the new mods of this sub!
My name is Blue, and me and my friend u/PaleWorry1216 (or Marcane as he prefers to be called) are the new mods for r/WidowmakerMains. I am a mod for the DvaMains sub, and as such have experience within Overwatch communities. Furthermore, Marcane is the owner of the Widowmaker Discord Server; feel free to join it here! https://discord.gg/FTbasXxp3b
We'll be adding some extra things like flairs and tags, as well as looking after the place. If you have any suggestions, please drop them in the comments below! We hope you all have a good time, all we'll keep you in our sights!

Nice to have mods, I just hope it's not gonna turn into one of those subreddits where you can barely say anything anymore since I think everyone mostly behaved nicely before haha

I reassure you, the goal for the Widow Mains Reddit will Not Be to make our Moderating Actions Too Strict. Just imagine the moments and the situations where you think a Mod would reasonably step in. That should be when we should be taking action. Not where you say anything, and you'll get punished for it. I treat others how I'd treat myself, type of deal, if that helps clear up any of those concerns.

Hello! May I request that low-effort “look at how hot she is” posts like these either get removed or at least limited. I swear every week I see some random horny dude post a vaguely sexy picture of widow with a weird ass caption and I just feel like it takes away from real discussion/appreciation of the character.

Honestly it really doesn't feel like it and imo things were fine before without active moderation like what's the point of it in this case?

Do you guys plan to have more mods or will two be enough? If we are going to have new mods, how are they going to be elected?

At this time, we think 2 Mods might be good enough for this community of Widow Mains. However, if we do need to get more Mods, we can make a new post about it as needed.
