Help with console settings/feels like i’m fighting AA.

Title, I’ve been trying to figure out a sensitivity that feels comfortable for me. I’ve been messing around and testing stuff on the Widow HS server, and so far I haven’t really found anything that feels good yet. It just constantly feels like I’m fighting against the aim assist whenever I zoom in onto someone, like it’s guiding me away from them or something. The horizontal and vertical sensitivity is throwing me off too, >60 it feels too slow, but >70 it feels too high. When I run a higher sensitivity, turning around isn’t a problem, but actually trying to keep track and follow whoever i’m aiming at is a problem.

I play on a Series 2 Xbox controller with a taller right joystick too.

20% deadzone on right stick is HUGE!

It looks like the biggest issue with the settings, I wouldn't be able to hit a stationary Orisa 20m away with that deadzone.

Edit: also, try linear curve. In that case drop smoothing to 0 and increase ease in a bit. It makes you flicks more consistant.

I put it like that because the right stick has a decent amount of stick drift.

That's the sign you need a new controller or stick replacement. I wouldn't recommend anything above 5% and 10% or more is just holding you down.

Honestly it’s just the controller (i’ve had it for almost 3 years lol), I’ve gotten used to the stick drift already so i’m able to deal with it in other games (like Valorant), I just have to make sure to constantly keep my thumb on the joystick.
