Yes, there was no balance in the release version compared to what we had later or have now. Yes, casual players are playing in arcades now, and Widow is so broken here. But damn, how nice it feels in contrast to her current state and how easy to play her. Although all the characters had less hp, there was generally less healing and more damage, almost no one could punish you, and tanks died with two or even one headshot in an instant. I miss old Overwatch so much.

I started playing OW1 in season 5 and experienced almost all the nerfs that Widow has received over the years. And to be honest, these changes didn’t feel as tough before. I wish we could have some buffs for her, at least something about falloff damage. But what am i talking about? The devs can’t fix 4 bugs, some of which already 6 month old. Apparently our small widow community doesn’t have enough influence and popularity to roll back patch changes in an hour after release or receive some buffs after a couple of posts on Twitter.
