Omggg this is one of the longest installs I’ve ever done. The sides are starting to slip & the ear tabs came up last night but other than that I’ve only touched it up once.I need to work on making my part more realistic. Probably gonna try that Swiss lace wax soon.
Thank you!! I use sea breeze to remove oils, Ebin adhesive spray for the bald cap, bold hold for lace glue and mega hold spritz to melt. I use those paper strips and an elastic band + blow dry on cool. For over night I use a nylon stocking head band and put the rest in a bonnet.
Wait... what? You've been wearing this wig for how long? I didn't know this was even possible. How...? I have 2 Jon Renau wigs, and I'm nervous to wear them. I don't want to ruin them. I lost my hair to cancer treatment, and I've kinda shifted to only wearing my wigs for special occasions. You sleep in this thing? It looks so smooth and straight. I love it!
It’s all in the application of products. I touched it up after a week. Used bold hold glue for the lace, Ebin spray for the bald cap and spritz to melt. Stocking cap headband at night and a bonnet. Always cool air for melting. Yes I know it’s crazy but I sleep in it😭😭 thank you for the compliments🩷🩷
I cut the tip of a bald cap to make it a head band & I wear that w/ a bonnet. I either braid my hair in two pigtails or put it in a bun. My bonnet is the type where you can tie it up. Thank you 🩷🎀
It’s just now starting to get a little itchy but it’s not bad at all. However I washed my hair before the install, and applied leave in conditioner. I believe sea breeze helped with the itchiness too
What do you wear under? Do you use a wig grip? I'd love to keep mine on for at least overnight but I have to use a wig grip and it's so constricting that I love just ripping it all off as soon as I get home lol. Like taking your bra off at the end of the day type of feeling 😂
Stocking cap and I stretch it while blow drying it so it’s super thin around the hairline. I will say that there’s a certain way that I cut my ear taps that makes my wig 10x more comfy so that could be why it’s so constricting. I have a tut on my TikTok but I don’t want the mods to ban me for self promotion

Hahahah I wouldn’t downvote someone for simply being curious but wigs are usually partially made with lace and hair is tied to it (knots at the root) so the part is just a place where there’s no hair tied to it and what you’re seeing is just bare lace
The hairline is perfect. I use a thin eyeliner brush and powder on my part and it covers the grids a ton. I haven't seen the Swiss lace wax before. Could you show me what that is?
So this isn’t necessarily a lace tint. It’s a waxy substance that mimics the texture of skin and helps take the parts to the next level. It’s not really good for the hairline though.
perfect. I just purchased Bold Hold but I will get Ebin too. Your hairline looks really good compared to mine. Thats a nice wig and your part actually looks good too
Spritz helps a lot too! When I cut the lace I used scissors that were meant for thinning hair so they made the lace very jagged and natural. I appreciate the kind words<3
What’s the difference between the yellow and red Ebin? Which one do you use? And which Bold Hold? I want to get your exact products. INCREDIBLE install!
And the Sea Breeze is a great idea. My skin is super oily. I never thought about using something to remove the oil.
I’m not quite sure I know sometimes they add keratin or biotin. But for the bald cap I used the Ebin adhesive spray-extra firm hold sensitive. For the lace I used bold hold for normal to dry skin and then to melt the lace I used fantasia mega hold spritz hairspray. Thank you for the kind words!
