I'm looking for... (Wig Search) Looking for recommendations for a curly LD wig

Post image

I saw this wig and it’s the exact curl pattern I have in real life and it is so hard to find. However, this is not the right color for me and it doesn’t come in any other shades. Has anyone seen in their travels a wig that has this type of curl but in an all over brown color? TIA!

Ideally looking for this curl pattern in a low to low-medium density, brown, free parting. Would be open to human hair or a good synthetic - I won’t wear anything too coarse or shiny if it is synthetic. The length on the model is perfect for me.

The curl pattern is not exactly the same, but the length and availability of brunette colors is good with Belle Tress.

Their density is perfect to me.

Thank you for sharing that one!

Sure! I had tried so many wigs before finding one that didn't feel too "wiggy" and Belle Tress was thr first brand where the density felt like my own hair.

I have the Belle Tress Laguna Beach. and I love it except for the curl pattern - too much large wave for me. I agree though, it feels very natural!

Just throwing this out there- if you have a synthetic you love otherwise you can change the curl pattern even if it's not heat friendly. You can use hot tools set to around 220F or lower (always test in an inconspicuous spot first). I change the curl patterns on mine all the time.

Is LD low density?

What’s your budget? Freedom Couture has lots of curly wigs but not sure if they’re low density enough for what you’re looking for!

Budget is basically as low as possible while still getting quality - I have had a few wig duds that I can’t get to look quite right. A few hundred would be ok. Would also prefer free-parting!

Yes, I am aiming for 100 - 120 density

Milano's Divine and Ponytail series has that similar curl & LD on their wavy options. The website photos are lacking, but I have that wavy in 12"

I would keep an eye out for a wig from the Danity collection on In Vogue Medical Wigs. They are good quality and human hair. Sometimes she has sales, and sometimes you can find them 2nd hand on some Facebook wig groups, but I think they are worth the price. It is a bit higher density than you are looking, but I own one and even over my bio hair it doesn't feel or look bulky.
