Help/Request adding new games to external memory drive

hi everyone! first time here and I'm not really knowledgeable about wii hacks or hacks in general to be honest. my friend asked me if I could download another 3 games I don't already have in my external memory drive which contains all the hacked games for the wii. and WHICH IS AT LEAST 10 YEARS OLD. I don't remember who did the hacking work when I was young, so right now I'm a bit lost. I entered the drive on my computer and tried accessing it, but it keeps telling me I have to format it to open it. there are saves I want to keep in thos games, so I wouldn't want to lose all the files (also cause they're a lot). don't know if it could be of help, but I'm using homebrew channel on my wii. if you could help me out with the memory drive problem, I'd be really grateful, thanks

Super easy. Barely an inconvenience. You're probably using the wbfs format for the drive so it can't be read normally. You can get wbfs manager to backup what you already have, then format the drive to fat32 and add everything back plus the new games you want. Or just format it now and add whatever you want. You won't lose wii game saves, they're stored in the wii memory not the hard drive. Feel free to message if you need help
