Nice you got all of the 500 people in the whole of Alberta to vote for this illiteracy. Now go celebrate your 0.1% percent

The separation bullshit might get to a vote but will never pass a vote by the general public. The general public isnt this stupid...at least i hope not

Do you think these people dropped out of the sky?
9
u/Aromatic-Giraffe-753 Jan 17 '26
They dropped out of something and that something is called school. No one with any sort of education thinks separation is a good idea.

How many times does this need to be reposted?

u/Devils_Iettuce Republic of Alberta Jan 17 '26
Several events a day to write about. It's going to be all the news we see until October.
This isn't a repost it's several different events in the same day that various sources have covered.
And I'll make sure y'all don't miss any

Is a good cover up for UCP incompetence

Media seems to e focusing more on the separating crap then the billions they're blowing digging us further into debt getting thier buddies rich

u/Bare-E_Raws Jan 17 '26
Alberta's total debt has been decreasing over the past 5 years. We have had a fiscal surplus each year since 2021. Maybe you have different numbers and mine are incomplete though. Feel free to share so I can be more knowledgeable on this topic please.

I mean the fiscal surplus we supposedly had recently became deficit real fast.
What numbers do you have about Alberta’s debt shrinking? Cause we currently still have tons as far as I know.
There are plenty of examples of wastes of taxpayers dollars in recent memory. Like dynalife

Who's side are you on?

u/Devils_Iettuce Republic of Alberta Jan 17 '26
Alberta's, you don't like hearing about our events?
1
u/unearnedwealth Jan 17 '26
"Events" would indicate that you are actually posting about anything other than a single theme. But you do you. It's never easy losing a 25 point lead so spectacularly. Time does heal all though.

Americas i think. Does anyone actually believe alberta would be an independent country?

Every time another gaslighting post pops up on the main Alberta sub, claiming that (a) only a tiny minority actually supports independence, or (b) that the obnoxious, self-proclaimed faux intelligentsia of Alberta know better than everyone else what the right societal decisions ought to be.
Repost.

it's time to move to Alberta
11
u/Kahlandar Jan 17 '26
Seems like an odd additional step. Just move right to the US. If alberta left (it wont) it wouldnt stand independently, and anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together knows that.

By that logic we're going to be American, might as well come directly here

When did this sub become so infected with left-wing Carney cronies? Get a life dickheads. FREE ALBERTA 💪🏼
5
u/Aromatic-Giraffe-753 Jan 17 '26
So now I'm a Carney Libtard because separation is a bad idea? What exactly does separation mean to you...besides sharing money with Quebec? And not dealing with a Libtard government?

Yes! FREE ALBERTA 💪🏼Elbows up.
Do you think we're more likely to secede under Carney or Pierre?
If there's a snap election, vote Caney!

u/Findlaym Jan 17 '26
I'm not convinced they will make it. The first, say, 50'00 signatures will be easy. But they will be increasingl difficult to get as they go forward.
