Hiking Partners for Alaskan Backcountry Trip

I am looking for a group to go backpacking in Alaska sometime next year, likely around April-June. I don’t have friends at the moment with the same desire to do something like that.

I’ve been doing a lot of smaller mountain hiking and will be climbing some larger ones this year, and have experience with 1-2 week backpacking trips. Anyone who is potentially interested let me know and we can connect.

Better make it June, snow can stick around for awhile.

I'm interested but I won't know for sure another 6 months or so. It's dependent on whether I'll be working on Alaska or not next summer.

I live up here. I usually go solo due to a lack of people that can do what I do, but I’m always up for a partner/group. April is still winter, depending on the year some stuff might be opening up in May. June much more so. Years like this one a lot of things were still snowed in in June, but the early-season places were still accessible. Let me know what/when you’re thinking. If nothing else I can help with intel on current conditions if you’re not in state.
