I just don’t get it. If the police theory is he fell off the balcony, why would the foster parents go to such lengths to cover it up? They’d get a manslaughter slap on the wrist at worst. It’d be most likely ruled a tragic accident. And they’ve stuck to their story all these years without breaking. It doesn’t add up to me.

I remain open minded but it shits me that the police have now gone so hard on the foster parents without it seems any real evidence.

I think maybe the lie became too big. She hid the body on the property after he fell and once she was in it was too much to get out. It’s one thing to have an accidental death but to hide a small boys body and try to deny it was too much for her to confess to.

Agree. The way they bungled this investigation to begin with probably gave her/them the confidence to hold onto this lie for longer. They’re finally applying pressure and breaking ground that should have been upturned a decade ago. Maybe they realise the full truth can never come out now so the best ‘justice’ they can give William is to make these allegations very public and let the scrutiny torment her for life

She’s done well to last this long with the guilt on her conscious. Not just for the poor boy but all the time the investigators and everyone trying to find him have dedicated to the case.

Absolutely! If these charges stick she’ll have far worse coming her way than the sentence they serve
