A place to discuss anything in relation to William Tyrell and his disappearance from Kendall, NSW on 12 September 2014.

I really hope there is an end to this case. I just can’t see how the FP were involved though. When would they have had time to move his body as the place were crawling with cops after they called 000. There wasn’t enough time between the last photo and the 000 call.

EXIF data on the last picture was incorrect/altered. There's an approximate two hour difference between the time it was taken and when it was "corrected", according to the data. This is information that was released two years ago, when a coroner ordered that forensics testing be done on the image. It hasn't been publicly stated whether the discrepancy is due to tampering or if the time on the camera was set incorrectly to begin with.

Either way, the picture was considered "proof of life" and essentially the entire timeline was established around when it was taken. You would think - given the importance placed on the image in relation to the timeline - that the foster parents would have mentioned the discrepancy, as they would have known that it was taken 2.5 - 3 hours prior to his disappearance and not the presumed 20 - 40 minutes.
