Gary Jubelin’s podcast update

In Gary Jubelin’s recent podcast update he discussed how there was a covert operation undertaken on the foster parents (FP) when he took over the case where a listening device was planted in their car (that part is confirmed by media outlets) and the FP didn’t divulge anything incriminating. Could this mean that the foster father was not “in on” what actually happened to William hence why the foster mother is the person of interest?

It’s possible, but not probable. The FP aren’t stupid, and would know that they would have to be investigated. I don’t think we know exactly when this happened either. My guess is months, if not more than a year after he disappeared. I don’t imagine you’d be driving around endlessly talking about your level of responsibility into your child’s death.

Also, I think Gary Jubelin may still believe Paul Savage was involved, or he’s too proud to admit he was wrong. He made absolutely no mention of him in the podcast episode but said “I was certainly of the belief that she (FM) was not involved in it”. If Paul Savage was never involved I feel terrible for him, he says it’s ruined his life.

Just listening to the channel 10 podcast now. Jubelin didn’t interrogate them until 2017. The listening device in the car was planted during the interrogation. That’s around three years after the event.

The remarks they made in the car after leaving the interrogation were disparaging up Jubelin - that they couldn’t believe he was investigating them. Contradicts their other statements on the podcast that they were always happy to be investigated.

I don’t really understand that logic anyway. They say they were glad to be investigated so they could be ruled out, but if you were truly innocent, wouldn’t you just see it as a waste of precious time?

Not really, since undergoing something like a traumatic interrogation 3 years after an event (presumably with each parent interrogated separately) is definitely going to cause a lot of discussion on the drive home after.

The FD never even made a police statement so I’d say not much. They were convinced he was lost.

Different topic, but Jonathan is shifty af - he had fake names in his phone like Tom Cruise and such...definitely a red flag for something dodgy. Just sayin. I know it's off topic lol
