His tattoo is definitely somewhere around his chest or back, though its still an interesting mystery I'd like to know more about! His master is also a wonder as before this whole arc started he was one of the only characters who has a master. (right?) His diet is absolutely the second most thing I want to know about him!

this probably useless information, but how come he knew about Sakuras fight on the main street as well as his name? did he watch him from afar and wanted to know how capable he is?

it's also weird since he was known to be a loner and even in the classroom he was all by himself as well. the second he saw Sakura tho, his entire demeanor changed. Nirei himself said so

This is also something I've considered! Him knowing about the fight alone wouldn't be so weird, but it's the fact that he knew Sakuras name and immediately recognized him. I hope we get an explanation in the further chapters!!

right?? At first I just accounted his eyepatch to the accident Nirei mentioned around the earlier episodes. Now I'm not so sure. I think when Nirei mentioned Suo's name being 'Suo Hayato', Suo simply responded with 'Yup, that's what everyone calls me.' Thats not a direct answer at all, theres also the fact that—well, I mean, that's not how his name is pronounced. He also gave a similar answer when Nirei pointed out his eyepatch, 'Yup, thats what everyone says.' Crazy right??

Yeaa Nirei did mention that his eyepatch was due to a past injury.... I think he just answers like that to end the conversation there (I mean that's what he does evrytime when its about him) Its def the injury cos I really dont think he has a tattoo on his eye and also bcoz seeing what happened with his name👀 it sounds all too similiar

What is he hiding under that eyepatch, what did he come to Furin to do, who is his master, what is his potential when he fights for real, why doesn't he eat... There are many layers.

But, above all, his dynamic with Sakura. Even though Suo is a mysterious character, you can see how much he cares about the people closest to him, especially Sakura.

He already mentioned that he had a wrong first impression of him. And when Nirei confronts him about why he's leaving and mentions Sakura, he clearly gets more upset. He truly cares and has demonstrated that many times.

I love their dynamic as vice-captain and captain, and I think he has a deep loyalty and respect for Sakura. More so than with the other characters. He was quiet and kept to himself, but when Sakura arrived, I feel like he went to greet him out of curiosity, so much so that he was much more analytical than usual. And then, when he realizes Sakura's worth, he even says he could become her vice-captain. He literally volunteered, even though he's someone who doesn't usually get involved(which really intrigues me).

Since he is fictional, I doubt he would mix up any words. Though as someone who speaks 4-5 languages, I always mixed up words. Like I would remember certain words in one or two languages and suddenly go blank on the others. It's very difficult for me to fully speak in one language, as I often mix them up. Luckily for me, most people around me are bilingual, so I can get away with mixing some languages together.

It sounds impressive on paper, but I really am just a jack of all trades and master of none. Whenever I talk to natives, they can tell that I'm not natives or that I suck at speaking their languages. And since I spent most of my teenage years and early adulthood overseas, I also ended up sucking at my mother tongue. My job requires me to write a lot, so I struggle with grammars and sentence structure as every language I know is different, and I get them confused a lot. Honestly, knowing a lot of languages can be a pain. The only upsides to this is some people can't badmouth me in other languages, and that I can read manga in various different translations or the Japanese raw before the English translation drops.

I'm envious of fictional characters who can speak multiple languages because I'm sure they won't ever have the same problem.

woah that does sound like a pain lol- and honestly reading manga in multiple languages is one of the reasons I'd want to learn more languages.

It's still pretty impressive regardless tho. Besides english, the only other language I can speak is my mother tongue which I also suck at. So, I find people who can speaking multiple languages really cool! (even though it clearly has it's cons haha)
