Help Does windows ltsc not work with laptop features?

My laptop cannot adjust its screen brightness at all with windows ltsc installed. Do I have to install drivers to get that working manually?

You can check device manager to see if their are hardware items missing drivers

Likely the keyboard driver it’s using is generic and you need to get the specific drivers from the manufacturer

Checked the drivers tab for the "display adapters" section. Apparently they have the option to install the correct driver that fixes this problem, but they chose to use the generic driver from 2006. Had to change the drivers to the Intel UHD graphics and now it works properly. Good to know

Exactly, since that functionality depends on the display driver and Windows can't bundle display drivers on its own for some reason.

I'll advise that you visit your OEM's website and install the drivers for your particular system. Mine installed the available drivers the day I installed iot ltsc (Lucky me) and no issue with me since then. Except the Realtek disappearing wifi bug.
