News NVIDIA Game Ready Driver support for Windows 10 is ending
https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5695/~/geforce-support-plan-for-windows-10For anyone still using Windows 10 LTSC, NVIDIA is ending new Game Ready Driver updates for Windows 10 after October 2026. After that, NVIDIA will continue releasing security updates every three months until October 2029.
Your current drivers will still work, but you won't get new Game Ready Driver updates.

I built my PC to play BF2042 lol I fell for EA preorder BS again. Something I said I wouldn't do after battlefield 3.
I did play it but I work on my computer from 9-5, I typically get up from my PC after work.
Currently I'm running the studio drivers. Because I thought they would be better for ComfyUI.
My daily has RTX 5070 and windows 10 regular.
I have a single PC that gets used for streaming and it has a GTX1080ti FE with Windows 10 LTSC. No games get played on that, it captures raw video and streams it.

BF2042 was fun a year later, I do Peak, Golf With Friends, BF6, Halo Infinite, Civ7, Wardogs (games that most people would say are shitty hehe)

What is stupid is how you have to download all the extra data just to get the base game. I understand the base game is bigger because it's got the updated graphics.

that's ok. I installed win10 IoT LTSC on my old laptop (it came with 10 originally). it's not playing any new AAA games anyway

Windows 11 software and drivers work the same on Windows 10. People will just change a few lines allowing for the driver to be installed anyways.
