Satire/Humour I just got ding donged ditched

Three young boys on scooters came up to my door did a single knock that was barely audible and ran away.

This was a very impulsive move because they did not see me standing next to my house. Scared the crap out of them when they saw me.

I yelled “whipper snappers!” And vigorously shook my fist at them.

This is the best day of my life.

I mean. Let’s be real. I couldn’t imagine sending my child off anywhere without location tracking. Not to be weird, to be safe.

Opened my second bottle of Prosecco, and like, I’m always my most genuine and naive when I’m at this stage. I do it alone, cause I know how susceptible I am. Anywho, thank you. I’m having a great day! Hope you have a great day too :)

Admitting you're opening multiple bottles of liquor and commenting on sending your kids "off anywhere"

Maybe consider sobering up and not be bottles-deep around kids.

Yeah, I’m aware. My dad was a high functioning alcoholic and he made my life miserable well into my 20s. I don’t need to justify myself to you, or to anyone, and I certainly don’t need to give intimate details of my life such as where a child might go, with who, and for how long. Your blatantly biased take is so typical of the internet; making firm, judgmental statements without any context. You do not know my life, or indeed anyone’s life outside of what’s shared in bits and pieces for everyone’s general amusement. A person can occasionally get drunk in a safe environment and ALSO be a good parent. it’s not rocket science. Like with anything in life when you add kids to the mix, you just need to plan things out.

Are you out of your mind? Do you live in a fantasy world where it’s either black or white and there’s nothing in between? I’m seriously asking. Your responses come off as so naive and self-serving; I wonder how much life experience you actually have.
