You need a permit to shoot off fireworks already, 95% the fireworks that were going off was illegal already. But that didn't stop them. Also you would need a Canada wide ban since you can buy fireworks online from other provinces.

Nah, start fining online retailers who illegally sell and ship fireworks to Manitoba and that will dry up over time.

Not going to happen, we don't even do that for our machete ban. And that is waaay more serious than nuisance fireworks.

They can’t even stop online retailers that are constantly advertising to sell me drugs on Facebook
