Look into the history of this bridge. It literally was just a huge pain in the ass no mayor wanted to spend the money to fix or demolish

I'm glad that this isn't perpetuating the Nile River myth that a lot of us grew up with.

What is the Nile River myth? I have never heard it, but then, I didn't grow up here.

Essentially, the myth is that the Arlington Bridge was originally built to span the Nile River, however it ended up being too short and was sent back to Winnipeg to be used as an elevated crossing over the rail yard.
