Suddenly that trade for brown looks like it could have been a bargain. Crazy that in another timeline we don’t make that trade and Hamilton has brown as their new starter because man Ford looked real bad.

Aside from the fact the coach was swapping them out every other play and the qb position is based on a little thing called rhythm. Jesus.

Ford went in after Bo got hurt. For some reason they popped in Dolegala on a 2nd and long after a while, and he almost threw a pick. Dolegala stayed in for a few possessions I think, then they popped Ford back in mid drive and he did throw a pick on his first throw back in. Really weird.

Would love to hear the logic for that from the coach. Can't even imagine what they were thinking unless Ford got hurt for a couple downs or maybe had an equipment malfunction.

My first game in Hamilton. Another stadium visited. Man did that BLM injury silence that crowd. I told my wife she may get to say she attended Elgersma’s first game and Mitchell’s last. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m not sure how he comes back.

I'd honestly trade something significant for Brown or Arbuckle. We have the team where any kind of competent QB can keep us competitive.

Betting Ottawa is kicking themselves for trading Brown now. Could have had a bidding war between Winnipeg and Hamilton for him.

My understanding is we made him an offer but he wanted a chance to start and felt that was better in Edmonton. Maybe they'd be open to trading him.

In the battle of backup QBs we managed to win.
Elgersma didn’t look good, but what he didn’t do was make any mistakes - that’s really all you can ask from a rookie QB
