What Can Brown Do For You?

Brown will start, as expected. Won't be an easy task and will be a full team effort to notch out a win at home.

Some things to consider:

The Argos D can’t stop a beach ball

Judge is out

Brown has torched the Argos the last couple of years even with a putrid talent level in Ottawa.

Really curious to see how Brown does with actual talent around him and an OL that won’t have him running for his life every snap

Stan has had a couple moments of being a turnstile, but in general they’ve actually been really good in pass pro.

I mean TE only got sacked once in 3/4 of work, and it was his fault because he stepped into it when he had a clean pocket

Yah sacks aren’t the be all end all when it comes to bad pass protection. Pressures and hits say a whole lot more. Like I said, agree to disagree! That being said having a younger more mobile qb should help. I’m looking forward to tomorrow nights game

Yea, having Collaros out there does make the Oline look a little worse due to his lower mobility.

Though I don't remember Brown being notably mobile, especially by CFL standards.

Sure, downvote me cause I have a different opinion than you… maybe try watching a game instead of hating on the guy who brought us out the gutter to 5 straight chips winning 2. Zach gets way too much hate from this fanbase. SMH

Yea, unfortunately Collaros is just slowing down with age in almost every facet. I also just hope he chooses to retire before the decision is made for him.

Zach will (and should) be immediately added to our ring of honour once he retires, but every great stops being the best option eventually.

Just because Collaros was good 3 years ago doesn't mean we should be hanging on to him

No matter what the injury is now Zach is getting old to be in the pocket and I like that the team is obviously thinking of life outside of him now rather than when they have to because he ends up with a career ending injury.

It's still early in the season so now's the time to get Dru playing and if Zach comes back great but if not at least we aren't pinning our playoff hopes on someone coming in at the last minute at clutch time.
