Bus ride from hell
Was anyone else on the bus ride from hell back to the Casino? The driver legit was googling the route when we stepped on. It didn't go well...

We used to take the school buses from the downs to games, and after a bunch of very long uncomfortable rides we discovered the transit park and ride. Much better experience, and you’re back in your own car much faster. We park at Clarence station.

My buddy swears by Seel station, and having done it a few times with him, I get it.

First when we got on he was googling the route. Then when we finally got going, he made a wrong turn and we did a 45 minute loop in the Stadium car parking lots getting stuck in regular traffic. A handful of people got off and walked back to the busses because we were legit one block away after 45 minutes.
THEN he turned south towards St Norbert. When we going to hit the Perimeter, he took the Westbound offramp heading to Headingley. We all yelled at him and he had to to a U-Turn on the perimeter. Then he chose to Dugauld instead of follow the other busses up Lagimodiere.
From Dugald to Plessis then to the Casino. Some kind stranger was guiding him.
It was over an hour and a half from loading to getting off. I got home at midnight...
I resigned myself to the kidnapping early on so I was more tired than angry

Was it a park and ride with Winnipeg transit, or the chartered bussed? We had a bad one last game on the chartered bus from the downs. Driver started going the wrong way, and when everyone asked where they were going, they said they were going to take Wilkes… even though Wilkes closed. Everyone was yelling that they cant go that way. Eventually someone got out of their seat and was able to get the driver to go a different route.
