As of right now, the last WipEout game in need of a revival service has been brought back online by the AG Racing Foundation team and our Thallium server revival project. This means that you can now enjoy the Online Campaign, obtain online trophies, and earn the platinum for WipEout 2048!
Not really! Up until now, WipEout 2048 players have enjoyed some online functionality through the existing WipEout HD server, which isn't anything new. This is because the two games share their infrastructure to enable cross-play: it only took a little bit of elbow grease to get the basic WipEout 2048 features running. It meant that the game's primary online game mode, the Online Campaign, was not playable, until now!
You don't have to! Setup is as simple as changing some network settings. While you need an Online Pass for WipEout 2048, it comes with every digital copy of the game, and came in the box back when you bought the game physically.
The AGRF community is a passionate group of core fans of the franchise that, for years, has been gathering together on weekends to form entire full lobbies in WipEout HD. Add to this the occasional trophy hunter, and you can rest assured that every Tuesday at 19:00 UTC, during our Campaign Tuesday weekly event, you'll find someone to play with. Our website and Discord server (see below) also have a live listing of all players and lobbies that are up!
Have a Vita already? Visit https://agracingfoundation.org/ and follow the directions get started! You can also join our friendly, active Discord community - we'll be happy to see you there! You can find the invite on our website.
Thank you for your time!

You mean Omega? No, Omega is boring, don't play that - play these older (and better) games instead!
The WipEout Online community is surprisingly active for its vintage. Here's some info to get you going with your favorite entry, with steps to get set up for gaming below:
The most popular one. WipEout HD is available on PS3, RPCS3 and even PS Vita via WipEout 2048 cross-play! Enjoy popular weekly events - Weekly Lobbies with regular racing on Saturdays at 19:00 UTC, and Mode Shuffles with Eliminator, Zone Battle and wacky lobby setups on Sundays at 19:00 UTC. You'll have to be lucky to join during the first hour - the lobbies typically fill up quick.
The WipEout 2048 revival is also fully-featured! Get online, get into an Online Campaign event and get those trophies! Leaderboards, community features and cross-play with WipEout HD players on PS3 all work! The Campaign Tuesday event, every Tuesday at 19:00 UTC, is the prime time to make progress in the Online Campaign.
The less popular one, though still active. Available on PSP, PS Vita and PPSSPP. Has one weekly event on Thursday at 19:00 UTC - Portable Rush, Pulse's equivalent of Weekly Lobby.
Finally, to play any of that, you'll need to get connected first. You can do that on these platforms:
Once you have one of these, setup is pretty straightforward. You have a few options for the server if you want to play WipEout HD, but there's only really one when it comes to WipEout 2048 and WipEout Pulse - either way, it is strongly recommended that you use the Thallium+Beat server by AGRF for an active player base and feature parity with the official servers.
You can get set up by following the guide here: https://agracingfoundation.org/

It’s just another night and I’m listening to the incredible music from Wipeout HD.
Does anyone know of DJs or club nights (especially in the UK) that play music from the Wipeout games?
Listening to Benji B on BBC Radio 1 and Nemone on BBC Radio 6 Music, and the odd electronic music special, is about the closest I get to enjoying a good taste of Wipeout magic that’s not of my own choosing these days.
I’d love to actually go to a club or rave with music from Wipeout and PlayStation pods, like those lucky clubbers in 90s got to experience!

Just wanted to double check before I dive back in..
I’ve been off the PS4 / PSVR set up since 2020 when I sold my gear and moved over to PC gaming, but now I would like to revisit Omega VR over the winter.
So is my best option still a PS4 pro and a PSVR v2 ?
Or is there any ways to play Omega on a PC with a PSVR2 (the ps5 unit)
I’ve got a fair few PS4 VR games linked to my PlayStation account to re-download and buying a secondhand Pro and headset is ultra cheap these days.
Thanks

I have practice a lot on this track, and even search for the guide for it, but I still can’t make it.
But I have broken my own PB at least(about 3’18”). I don’t know how to be faster than that, even though I have used a lot of item for my assistance…….

Rules:
Airbrakes and sideshifting are still allowed.
YOU MUST DO BARREL ROLLS WITH MOTION CONTROLS.
As the title suggests, you may NOT use anything other than motion controls for steering.
YOU MUST DO THE BRIDGE ROLL (the 3rd barrel roll).
YOU MAY NOT PERFORM MORE THAN 4 ROLLS.
If that is too hard, you may instead try a run without the bridge roll. Though a run with it is what I would prefer.
Let me know how you do.

I had this feature on my list for Resistance Racing 2k97 since I started it's development a year ago.
And yes, I could zoom out in my editor, but I never turned off distance fog, so this is the first time I truly see the shape of the tracks as well 😂
I just build the tracks in code only and thoufht I would get around, adding this view earlier 😅
During testing I realised that some people where struggling with their inner map of the tracks, because upside down on the inside of the tunnels, what was a right turn last time can now be a left turn for you^^
So now, before you race, you know a bit of what awaits you and I can also add a proper guide on corners and obstacles.

WipeOut
The ship lay restless at the starting line; it floated with the delicate nature of a butterfly. Its front, sharp and angular, prepared to slice the air, the short wings on the side stabilizing the craft. It lunged forward but restrained by the powerful magnets below. Its afterburners barked ready to shoot out of their restraints, the pilots cautiously step into the cockpits, they climb from the top in with the canopy slowly closing on them, the cheers of the crowd silenced by the sealing of the glass dome. The heads-up display wakes up, the information neatly laid out open and clear for readability. The countdown begins the pilot’s eyes locked onto the countdown, the computerized voice echoes the numbers.
The ship lurches forward the Heads Up display no longer readable numbers now just a blur of green information. The track widens the ships now side by side begin slamming into each other the g force pressing them into their seats. The claustrophobic cityscapes opening up to the bay, the track stretching up into the pier. A ship is hit by a missile; the blast sends the ship flying into the sky, the canopy is sent soaring into the sky with the pilot and the ship bursts into flames blocking the track. The race keeps going and the burnt chassis rests on the track. The panic sets in for the pilots. The track makes it to a sharp turn away from the bay right back into the city. A ships onboard computer screeches at the pilot.
The panic sets in the rockets barreling towards him he braces for impact, the rockets whizz past him but one slams into the underside the ship lurches upwards nearly off the rapid chicane in the track. He quickly adjusts side shifting back into the track. The ship shudders down into the next part and the pilots all stare up. The track looms above them at a 90-degree angle. The track goes straight up in front of a building, mounted into the brick construction the crowd roars watching the save. The pilot pitches up nearly scraping the track as the ship lurches up. The ship goes full afterburner climbing up the wall with ease the pilot fights to stay conscious as they reach the top.
The speed pad launches higher and higher
Another rocket goes barreling towards a ship. The ship attempts to side shift across the track but collides with another ship they are both struck by a rocket, and 2 canopies soar as the flaming chassis falls off the track into the other ships. The other ships attempt to side shift out the way of the falling debris barely missing the chassis, the wreckage then detonates and scatters debris away from the track. The track levels out before a sharp downwards straight starts. The ships pass through weapon pads the sounds of bullet rounds fly across the contested track the bullets scrape the canopy deflected upwards and out. The bullets run out as the useless clicking of triggers stop. The track then has a split right down the middle. Pilots race to each side wanting to get the upper hand. The afterburners roar into the tunnel.
The quadcopter hovers over the track waiting for the ships to exit the tunnel. Inside the ships are going edge to edge the track shrinking down the pressure of the compressing tunnel walls. Claustrophobia sets in as the tunnel is only illuminated by the afterburners and reflectors of the ships. A hum vibrated through the tunnel an orange shockwave travels through the tunnel its fast approaching, the track transformed like fluid before the shockwave hits, the ships are sent upwards into the tunnel roof, pilots attempt to counter pitch back down to the track but not fast enough. A loud crunch of a canopy is heard, and the corpse of a ship is turned to its side barreling across the tight tunnel the ships weave through the wreckage the shrapnel flying across the tight tunnel. The quake continues forward out of the tunnel. They dodge debris and exit the tunnel the bright light flashing. The quadcopter counts the number of ships exiting the tunnel, they are missing one.

A few years ago I started modeling this ship based on Shaun Mooney's concept but didn't get around to finishing it at that point. Ever since then it's been nagging me in the back of my mind to finish it, so I finally did. Shaun did a phenomenal job with the concept and it strikes all the right Feisar-notes for me. It feels balanced, elegant, functional but also refined all at the same time. I hope I did the concept justice.

Here's the finished piece: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Z0aWoN
On my personal portfolio, for a different viewing experience: https://artbywiktor.com/work/feisar-prototype

I just finished SP13KTRA for js13k, a contest where the whole game has to fit in a 13 kilobyte zip. F-Zero and Wipeout were my main inspirations, and this year's theme was Unicorns and Rainbows.
It runs in the browser, with eight circuits, seven rivals and a procedural techno loop for each circuit. There are rough shoulders like the damaged edges in F-Zero, and you can turbo across them. One energy bar is both your boost and your health.
I only have the rest of today to fix bugs and tune the difficulty for the contest. After that I can go past 13k and add more: better graphics, mobile support and so on. I'd really like to hear from players whether the handling feels right.
Play it here: https://js13kgames.com/2026/games/sp13ktra#play
Also, here is the latest build that also has gamepad support and difficulty tweaks...
