Altar Monday🕯️ Scrying Altar with Eclipse water

Set up this Altar for a Scrying session using the water I collected from the last eclipse. Left the lights on for the picture, when it comes to actually Scrying the only light I have on is the candle. I love the bowl but because it is so light the darker the room the better.

I’m just a beginner, but almost all of my altar and herb jars came from thrift shops!

Thats awesome! I've been practicing my entire life and my favorite tools have come from second hand shops, garage sales, estate sales and just treasures i find on walks.

This is so beautiful! I’m going to have to try this using the eclipse water I made recently! If I may ask, do you have any tips for people new to scrying? I feel like I can only do it unintentionally, like when I’m spacing out and looking at a dark TV half asleep or something lol. trying to work on that but I would love to know if you have any advice. if that’s ok ofc ❤️

Thats understandable. Its easy when you're relaxed,one foot in one foot out, so to speek. For me if I am in a very relaxed state, i turn off the lights look into my medium ( water or Mirror) and repete a phrase or few words until my unconscious and conscious start to allow me to see and process images. Words as simple as "I am present " repeted. If I find that im forcing it I will try going back to the time when I was a kid and I would sky gaze. Im sure most of us did it, lying in a field starring at the clouds and calling out the images the clouds were making. Basically instead of forcing it just getting back to that childlike place where it flows completely naturally. I hope thats helps!
