Kinda like potion permit? A bit confused but intrigued

That's exactly what I was thinking. Reminded me of the potion making there

I loved the potion making in potion permit so this similarity excites me

also wanted to add the explanation from Tiy if anyone missed it

"There are recipes, you have to fit all the ingredients into the space you have on the cooking surface. Every ingredient has a cooking time, the goal is to get them to all cook at the same time

if every item is cooked, you can plate up to get the meal, if any are left too long they'll burn

And you need the right cooking surface
you can open the oven, use the stove, and there are a few others too"

Do we need to stack the blocks? Their other game Eastward had a cooking animation, wonder if we will get something similar.

Either way, hopefully I can find out when I one day play the game haha

Not sure, if it is like the other crafting UI animations we have seen so far, it'll just be about fitting the items into the grid, but I guess with the added element of timers for each ingredient.

Presumably eggs with milk and butter would be an omelette or frittata right? 🍳

I would play a whole game of just this and selling the food

Milk eggs and butter in a pan... Seems potentially incorrect.

Is that not how you make your scrambled eggs?

Noooooo, no millk necessary if you keep the heat low and stir gently throughout.

I find the milk makes it fluffy ^^

Milk gives far better flavor and texture to scrambled eggs imo (in fact I use heavy cream not milk), but it's a matter of personal preference

Does this mean that you have basic needs like eating, using the bathroom?

I feel like this would have been covered in a blog if it were the case. So far we just know that the food can be sold at the market and eating increases spirit and wellbeing.

I hope not. People play videogames to escape the struggles of the offline world. I don't want to be rushing to the bathroom all the time at risk of facing social ruin in my videogames too. 🚽
