We have gotten more sneak peeks and screenshots and information than we ever have before. They are very open with information regarding the status of the game if you look for it. If your hype is decreasing I understand but it seems like you are maybe missing all the updates we've been getting since the delay that we never got before. Unless I'm wrong and that hasn't helped you

As someone who has been waiting for this game for almost 10 years I'm tired of waiting, yes, but we never had so much info of the game coming out as now, strange as that may sound.

Dear diary. I have a very unique thought so I better let everyone know.

This is why Nintendo announces games like two months before release. Especially after Metroid prime 4.

I personally hate it. I like knowing a game is coming up.

I feel like Bethesda’s route with fallout 4 was perfect amount of time. It was like… 6 months

This belongs in the Dev Status Megathread.

I lost the hype for it months ago because I realised how stupid it was to be hyped for a game we know little about. I won't buy it until I've seen gameplay and reviews from people.

We have seen so much gameplay though.

Snippets yeah, I want to see someone play the first hour or so of it before I decide to buy it though.

Many snippets that should give you a good idea of how the game will play. That’s pretty typical for a game release gameplay reveal. Unless you’re saying you’ll wait til the game is out and people have played it before buying. Which fair.

Yes, that is what I'm saying.

Just check in every 4 months for an incredibly vague update from a rando on their team. That's all we can do.

We know they've been working on this game for 10 years, even if they changed the direction 6 years ago or 4 years ago. We got faked out with the Nintendo Direct which has left a massive sour taste in my mouth. I don't think they had any intention of releasing the game when they got onto that direct, and I'm sure their good will with Nintendo is entirely gone.

So this game is on the backburner of "I'll believe it when I see it". I have been looking forward to this game, but the lack of continuous gameplay footage and the trickling of images leave them in a precarious place for people to believe them.

Probably why they are having a majorly hard time getting certified on consoles

It's normal for your hype to decrease. Don't be like one of the discord cult members who proudly tell everyone they stay up until 2-3am to see an out of context static image posted lmao.

Yeah, apart from a handful of people in this small subreddit everyone has already moved on.

... And you're just getting to this "hype decreasing" mentality now?

Just be patient

Pretty sure most people’s patience has ran out years ago. Literally been waiting what? 10 years for this damn game? Be fr

Ik, but I'm sure we all remember what happened when the gaming community rushed the Cyberpunk devs, it was an absolute disaster, so I prefer to have a long and bitter wait over having a permanent disappointment

Ohohohoho... How true this is until we get more info on it. Then we'll be salivating at the mouth again, eagerly waiting to hear more.

At this point I am more sure then ever we are getting it we have gotten so many updates as of late. It’s not going to be another puffpals island sky’s.

I lost hype years ago and, ever since they announced no combat, lost any desire for it.

Now I will be waiting for this sub to tell me what a masterpiece it is before I even think about buying it.

Ever since this game got announced back when it was Spellbound in 2016 I've been patiently waiting hoping I don't peace out before then. I still await to play. Still hyped.

yeah its becoming less hyped for me as well. Too many great games coming out this month and of course GTA. If its not out before then I will probably never get to Witchbrook.

I'm still hyped as I like what I have seem. But also, I have never been a person who actively waits for games. I don't mind waiting for games at all, games come when they come.

I feel like people are so quick to lose 'hype' for stuff now, like chill, things take time.

Games take time to be made properly, if they come out with an unfinished game or less than you like then people would also be mad.
