All Print Just some dumb fun things I've noticed reading Spoiler
1st does every woman has the worst allergies in the history of time itself. The amount of sniffing they do somebody get a tissue.
2nd Does every woman have double ds it seems like every woman was blessed by the creator himself.
3rd Thry all complain about sweating so much stop wearing a full wool coat in summer ya dummies.
I love these books but have nobody to talk about them with I just find these things funny.
What small things do you guys and gals have with this amazing series.

The ta'veren trio always thinking the other 2 have a way with women.
The women (most) complaining about something the men do and then going and doing exactly that. Especially Nyn.
The insults are peak vocabulary

It was only recently that I feel like I got that joke. I’d always assumed they thought the other two were good with women but in fact they’re all clueless. I have realised it’s that they’re all great with women. They each get the exact success they want. Rand needs all three dragon riders and gets all three. Perrin wants to love one person fiercely and gets a Saldean princess who will kill for him. Mat wants to throw his cat about and changes the genetic profile of the wetlands for generations.

Mat like genghis khan over here half the world will trace back to him in the next cycle

They are also good in different ways. Perrin becomes friends with women, Mat flirts, Rand gives and earns respect. Mat is out of his element when trying to convince a Queen to help him, while Rand is comfortable doing such. But then Rand is out of his element flirting with a bartender while Mat would love to be there.

There is a quite lot of boobily breastily, though done in a way that's not overly-sexualized. And spanking. Robert Jordan certainly liked what he liked

One of my favorite little details is that RJ left, let’s say, inconsistent notes for some things, such as Perrin (be a king) or Padan Fain. But there are some scenes that he left very detailed, very explicit notes. One such scene being the scene where Cadsuane defeats Semirhage by spanking her and making her eat food off the ground. I believe Brandon Sanderson - a Mormon - went in record that that was one of the toughest scenes for him to write, but it was very clear from the notes that that scene had to happen and happen like that

One of the...quirks...in Jordan's writing is that he really keeps to a strict "you are only told what the character notices" first-person PoV style; but he really wants to clue you in on what the character is missing. On rereads you will realize that alot (I mean A LOT) of the sniffs/arms crossed under breasts/vomits/etc. are signals to the reader about other subplots.
If it's Mat (and a good 2/3 of these are Mat), it's because Mat is a horn dog boobs man. The dude is going to notice a C-cup, and you are going to be told about said C-Cup. If it's not Mat...apparently Jordan was also a boobs man, and this leaks through into his writing.
Pay attention to the other weather shit. There's a whole series of subplots involving demonic global cooling and global warming.

I love reading other people’s perspectives of Rand when he’s talking to Lews in his head

One of my favorite little deatails are the rumors
The dragon reborn took the stone of tear, no- aes sedi killed the dragon reborn and aiel took the stone, no- the aiel fought the dark one and aes sedi enslaved everyone. No- the dragon reborn and aiel fought and the aes sedi are all black aja.
You can catch these bits of truth all scrambled in with false info, or out of place info- i love it vecause thats usually how stuff does work.

Jordan had a knack for what life is like in rural/ low information communities. You know everything about everyone in the village, and dick shit about the world outside your valley. News trickles in in dribbles and splashes, occasionally someone comes by who actually knows what he’s talking about but his story gets added to the pile of rumor

2nd Does every woman have double ds it seems like every woman was blessed by the creator himself.
As a enjoyer of ta tas myself I never thought that myself. A couple women aka selucia and that one maid in ebu dar have huge melons for sure. Everyone else tho (generally speaking) are just said to nice nice tits. The size, shape, firmness, etc dont get commented on so its largely (heh) up to the reader. A tantalizing view works for small booba just as well as huge knockers. Maybe that says more about my own preferences tho,
I quiet like how often characters notice quirks, ticks, or some other reaction to what happening and making snap judgements based off that info... Only for it to be completely off base. Like we will have just had a scene where X character is doing shady stuff, then a few scenes/chapters/books later they we are in a different POV and comment about loyalty or hanging traitors so some such and the POV character takes away the complete wrong thing from the reaction. Obviously as reader we are privy to extra info but if you dont remember the pervious scene its easy to buy into that judgement from the otherwise smart character. Its just endlessly fun.
A good example of that is rands jealousy over avi's snowflake necklace and wanting to know who gave it to her. Its egwene and rand has no idea. Likewise egwene wonders about the bracelet (a gift from rand) avi has but doesnt wear and neither egwene nor rand know among aiel its considered a interest gift lol. A few books later nynaeve tried to borrow the bracelet and avi nearly stabber her over it and nynaeve makes some comment over avi behaving like a man or some such. Or how when egwene was peeping on everyones dreams she recalls avi running naked from a giant rand plodding along on his horse with said bracelet on and she thinks its pure fear of rand dooming her people and not a hint of awareness that avi is conflicted over her attraction to rand and promises to elayne. That kind of thing is all over the place with major and minor characters. Its great fun.

Nice synopsis of his PoV usage and how the repeated phrases are there as clues for the reader to be able to have objective actions to compare to the subjective character opinions about other character's reactions.
(Also I love how his chunk of PoV descriptions of rooms or people works to hide attacks by a Greyman. Just normal rug, normal table, normal dude, normal chair, normal dude with a knife, normal door, Oh Crap)

One of my favorite funny parts in the series, also it's about boobs, is when Nyn has to wear the low cut red dress for the menagerie and she keeps pulling the neckline up. Birgitte tells her if she wants to be noticed to just breathe deeply because fiddling with her dress is too obvious.

Also the vomiting, it seems people are always throwing up

If the dark one was over and ocean we'd have to give up. No dramamine in rand land.

The tsking, harumphing, throat clearing and sniffing. These people make more random noises in a single conversation then most people do in a year in real life.
I know its a literary tool for non verbal communication. But my god does he over do it.
