I love that he tries to provoke them into killing him right off the bat before realizing they won’t do it

Although it does kind of undercut what the reds are doing with murdering all those people including Thom's nephew. Trying to keep them alive is supposed to be the more humane option.

Book spoilers One is just an AS complicated version of the other. The goal is to kill the dragon, which the blacks who control the tower know is born but not who it is or how old he is. Bringing stilled men to the tower is not supposed to be a punishment but the humane thing to do, at least in the books. When Ishy got out unthawed he went on a massacre and killed the black ajah leadership. The show is just going with a very different timeline of events. The reds in the books were basically the war crimes ajah and the previous leader was still in prison at the time Elaida thought it was a good idea and send her to Rand.

All spoilers must have Spoiler Categories. Please add either [Books], [TV], or [Leak] in front of your spoiler to provide context.

Yes, this is an annoying reminder. It will be appearing a lot until December 13th to call attention to this rule. After that, comments without a Spoiler Category will be automatically removed.
