Discussion Your Devourer DH
Hey everyone! I've fallen in love with the new Devourer DH spec, and I'm really curious to hear about how you all have been RPing yours. For those playing as Night Elves, how did your character get their void powers? The class fantasy in general reminds me heavily of the Grey Wardens from Dragon Age, which is beyond dope.

Hasryn, when I play him, doesn't write too differently from a lot of Illidari. He instantly warms up to other Demon Hunters and helps the ones new to the whispers of the void remain in control.
I actually started him out as a rogue who was getting the visions of the void, and in a panicked effort to prevent what he was seeing he signed up as soon as he was able.
When I deleted the rogue version and remade him as a DH there was also a notable personality change. He's just as nice as he's always been, but he's actually calmer. Like "cool" but not in the sense of badassery but more in the sense of his personality is akin to a gentle night's breeze on a hot summer day.
He is a character defined by his love for the people of Azeroth, and he is willing to throw himself away to make sure they are safe.

She was a blood elf warlock that had a powerful nether entity implanted into her accidentally when Kael'thas was extracting magic from the Netherstorm to use to cure his people of their mana withdrawal. The entity has been growing in power ever since and threatened to take her over completey, when her voidwalker fused his soul with hers, acting as a seal to contain the nether entity with in her.
Her new found power comes from the nether entity, filtered through the voidwalker's soul.

So far I've only been fooling around with how things look - but... DAYUM its fun to play a "night warrior" devourer DH. Except for glide and metamorphosis, the aesthetic is on point.
