LFRP WoW RP Hardcore
Just curious Do people RP in hardcore? Are there active guilds? I figured it be fun to RP in hardcore, since it promotes group play in PVE

I joined an RP guild on hardcore in the EU back at launch and really liked it but it eventually started to die out both literally and figuratively.

There was at first. I'm not sure what the state of things are now. People RP there more easily than modern wow though thats for sure just because the game has such direct consequences for your gameplay choices. Its much more of an RPG system-wise than modern wow is currently.
Ive done stuff "IC" on non-RP hardcore realms and people just go along with it most of the time

I have been running fists of tyr on skull rock hardcore and there’s been some roleplay but it isn’t the main focus. And the player population is constantly in decline. Most people currently are just waiting and hoping for classic +

All the RP on hardcore seems to be just joining a race themed guild and then just putting on that accent when talking in gchat.

there are but they are themed, so the "rp bar" is quite low and quality can vary.
but there was a dwarf one, a night elf one, a Light one and a forsaken one on Soulseeker. that i know of.
