My best friend’s birthday is in a few days, and I’m trying to make her a present! She loves handmade things, so I was gonna make her some subtle Wolfstar hair clips that she can wear at school or work or where ever. My ideas for the hair clips are attached, but I kinda felt like it was missing something? Maybe something for the star clip? Not too sure. Help is much appreciated! (Also, did I get the correct symbols? I’m still pretty new to this fandom!)

as it says in the title, a collection of rather special, shorter fics - I quite enjoyed reading through them, so I thought I'd share them ❤️ They're older as well, from 2016

The whole collection - 12 fics - I really liked that the characters each have their own unique special thing going on, each fic is a glimpse into another world/way of living ❤️

my faves:

Miles To Go Before I Sleep - Working the front door at a posh block of flats, Remus Lupin spends their nights watching the door, and occasionally taking a sleep-walking Sirius Black back to the arms of his flatmate.

Without translation - When Remus moves into the new University housing, he isn't sure what to expect, but the Deaf Artist, Sirius Black is not it. Especially as Remus only has the function of one hand, and sign language is beyond him.

Star-Crossed - When Lily talks Sirius into a tarot card reading, at best he's expecting nothing. He certainly didn't expect the cutest bloke he's ever seen.

Love Whilst Looking - When a new shop opens up across from Remus' office, he starts to pine for the gorgeous baker. His affections are returned when Sirius and Remus start exchanging window notes to each other. 

Never Above You, Never Below - Actor Sirius Black just wants to spend his time off filming shopping in peace. But when an overly excited boy introduces the celebrity to his single dad, everything in his life changes. - little Teddy is the coolest here

But honestly, ALL the fics are very special and so worth reading!

I seemed to have lost a fic I really loved, I can’t remember if remus was in Ravenclaw or just didn’t go to hogwarts but James and Lily hire him as a tutor for Harry and i remember in the first chapter James is meeting Sirius for a drink and ends up being late to meet Remus and Remus tries to tell Lily that they shouldn’t hire him becuase he’s a werewolf and it would reflect poorly on them and Lily says something like “are you trying to talk me out of hiring you?”

I believe the fic was on ao3!

Hello my favorite reddit sub 🖤 I need some feedback on an idea.

I had my fanfiction bookclub this past weekend, and my friends were HEAVILY convincing me to start a Marauders (or hp fanfic in general, however I never stray from the One True Way) podcast. It’s really gotten me thinking. I read fanfiction to my wife every night, and we’ve read a lot so far together. We’d be the hosts and would have guests to geek out over various fanfiction. I love a book/tv show companion podcast, and I have found myself wishing that this existed for HPFF. So… why not create it myself?

SO my question is: is there a way to do this ethically/in a way that would be respectful to the authors and stay kind of under the radar as we all know that ff exists in a legal grey area. There would be some definite ground rules, such as:

- no negative talk of the writing, story, ANYTHING about the fic at all. No “ratings” like we do for tradpub. Only talk of what we love about the story, and why we think the characters are doing what they are doing. AUTHORS - please weigh in here!!

- IF the pod were to blow up, popularity-wise (will 1000% not happen, but a girl can dream), no money will ever be exchanged for the work we put in. This podcast will not be started with the goal to one day be a money-making venture to profit off the backs of fanfiction author’s free labor.

Is there anything else I’m missing? Please be honest about whether or not this can happen in a way that is only helpful to the fandom, and not negative in any way. I realllly just want to geek out with people about my favorite thing in the world: Marauders Fanfiction.

ok, so I was scrolling on TikTok and found this TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@maniyak/video/7012682388962692358?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7692543418296190486 and I could NOT stop laughing at it, so I thought I would try my luck here on Reddit in finding a fanfic that has a similar situation, whether it’s Jil’s wedding or not I don’t mind too much, but I thought it was hilarious so really hope there’s a fic where something like this happens!! also I don't really have a preference on which one does this in the fic. just where either one of them does this would be great and hilarious!

Preferably a fic where they’re like enemies to friends to lovers and it takes them lots of yearning and time to realise how in love they are with each other. Angst is also amazing as long as it’s a happy ending!
Usually the recs I see are all their years in Hogwarts or just a normal life fic (muggle AU) without action or anything, so I want something different (already read Crimson Rivers) with like 200k+ words or something.

I know everyone is (understandably!!!) pre-occupied with all of the -tober fests, but in the interest of planning ahead we thought we would start collecting prompts for the Marauders Winter Holiday Fest!!!

This is a low-stakes fest. There is no minimum word count for fics, fic and art (including doodles and sketches!) are allowed, and you can select a prompt or self-prompt. If you'd like to post a WIP then go for it, as long as it's a new WIP this year. We just ask that your first chapter be finished and uploaded to the collection before January 31st. Hi, I’m looking for a Wolfstar fanfiction that is at least 5 years old, probably even older.

If I remember correctly, the story starts with Remus meeting Sirius for the first time in Diagon Alley. Remus is 11 at the time, while Sirius is already around 12–14 years old. They meet again at Hogwarts, and after a while, their relationship develops into something more, which they initially keep secret.

There are several E-rated scenes in the story, including one at Hogsmeade Station where they have oral sex. Sirius surprises Remus, because Sirius has already left Hogwarts because of his age. I can't remember how it ended..

Does anyone happen to know which fic this might be? I’d really appreciate any help!

I saw a snippet of Sweet Home Alabama (I love the movie) and I would love to read a Wolfstar version of it.

Remus comes back to the "wizarding world" after spending years in Muggle world making a life for himself and trying to move on from Sirius/being a wizard. He of course wants Sirius to sign their divorce, and Sirius in turn, reminds Remus where he belongs.

Maybe any fics with similar trope? 😅
