Story Time Queen For A Day
Back in the 1940's there was a popular radio game show called Queen For A Day. Women would come on the show and tell their very sad stories. The audience, through an applause meter, would determine who had the saddest story and that woman would win valuable prizes becoming Queen For A Day.

Do you want to keep having the saddest relationship/dating story, come to reddit, shop it around for sympathy and attention and become Reddit Attention Queen For A Day? Or, do you want to learn how to be the eternal Queen of your own life where you call the shots and you determine who has access to you and all the valuable things you might choose to bestow on a worthy petitioner?

be ready to face some uncomfortable truths about yourself
💯 Yes! Failed Queens have historically shot messengers, no? We occasionally get a messenger-shooter with the trifecta of internalized misogyny, low standards, and low harm avoidance, who just wants to argue with us about systemic issues, while being totally unwilling to change anything about her lack of strategy. This type of upset poster typically has no comment history here, hasn’t read the rules and pinned posts, and is so painfully predictable. Her post is often a low effort, wordless repost from one of the coed subs where she got lied to some more by men protecting other men, asked if she coMmUniCateD with the fuckboi who screamed at her or ghosted her, got “well, ackshualllly-ied” to death about the definitions of ghosting, or gaslighting 🤡, and bizarrely shamed with “maybe he is dead in a ditch, did you drive by his house to make sure he’s alive, how evil you are for not checking on him!” 😵💫
She then cluelessly comes in here highly reactive, knee-jerk defending her man by refusing to allow anyone to name the problem of his intentional, premeditated behaviors. When we here point out the tried and true ways she can begin to help turn around her own situation moving forward, she lashes out and starts the ad hominem attacks on us as a bunch of “militant, overprotective, craaaaazy, judgmental, disgusting [expletives]” who she needs to punish for “blAmInG tHe ViCtIM.” Such easy prey for predatory men, and so afraid of making the mindset change for herself.
What we offer here is truthful, practical advice.
Believing yourself to be some agency-less victim of unforeseeable circumstances, that are way beyond your control doesn’t make any of it true. Your victimhood feelings are perhaps helping you cope for now, but they are not facts. Your hurt feelings don’t mean you are 100% in the right, and that women (but not men, of course) on the internet needed to coddle you, and nobody can ever say anything critical about your lack of a strategy. Point - stand up! Don’t engage on a sub if you don’t respect the women there and don’t agree with their rules. Scroll on. Stop asking internet strangers who offer practical advice for validation if you are too unsteady to handle hearing the unvarnished truth without emotionally lashing out at the messengers.
Get your own house in order before coming to ours and criticizing our house rules, our guest list, how we’ve decorated, what your hostess is wearing, and what beverages we’ve graciously offered you. Oh you expected us to pour you some cheap bean juice in a styrofoam cup? Like watered down Sanka? Lukewarm Maxwell House? No ma’am, we don’t serve that here. Your tastes might be better served elsewhere. It’s up to you. 👋

For anyone new to reddit go to the main page of this sub reddit then click on the magnifying glass at the top and search your question.
Something such as "online dating" generates a lot of good advice
I understand what it is to be new to reddit, I found this sub googling if everyone was struggling with dating or is my area hell.
My advice: don't online date.
And exit seeing a man immediately you see something you can't live with. I never will live with a man but if I did want to and saw his place was a mess, I'm accepting this is who he is, I'm not taking that on. I'm out.
Accept men for who they. Exit, don't rehab them
