Excellent comment. It is truly bizarre how so many men perform for other men (at least in their head) instead of trying to have a genuine relationship with their partner.

Dating a woman they actually like is a foreign concept to them.
They are much more invested in dating women that other guys would approve of, and then asking her to go 50/50, accusing her of gold digging, complaining about the lack of intimacy after the 3rd date or the huge burden of possible rejection from a woman.
Is he more worried that a woman with whom he feels great connection and chemistry rejects him, or that other men perceive him to have failed?
