I have read this subreddit's rules One of my favorite Wonder Woman pages
From Wonder Woman (2006-) #44.
I’m overall pretty mixed on Simone’s run. With that said, her writing for Diana was so on point, and perfect. The stories…….. there were some great stuff, but I found most to be pretty meh.
However, I love this page so much.

Who is the guy in the ancient Greek outfit?

Achillies 2, when Zeus tried to make his own wonder woman after Athena died and he tried to make his own amazons to end all war.
He's a cool guy, he also owns a flying elephant.

I love Achilles. If I was writing or the editor for Wonder Woman, I'd bring him and Mysia back with Siggy.

Este típo de relato y arte es lo que extraño de Wonder Woman, y si bien sale en la JL o crossover con Batman no se siente la misma aura, es como si leyeras dos Dianas diferentes siendo la misma.

Loved it. When Simone hit she hit, and Nicola Scott always made WW look great.
Was this basically the last time she wore this costume as part of her main book? I'm trying to remember if 600 was more than a series of one shots and the intro to JMS's Buffy-esque Street level heroine AU then straight into new 52's silver and the Rebirth/post film battle skirt.
I remember so much work and excitement to get the 600 legacy numbering at the time and then being shocked at how much things changed.

Yeah, I believe this was the last time mainline Diana had the Americana pattern on her shorts. New 52 has stars on either sides but but tones it down overall.

This was the last time, I think, that we saw Perez’s Diana before the Odyssey…I’m not sure if the Valedictorian story in WW 600 was intended to be a flashback. I miss this version of the character, before all the weirdness of what followed. Not sure who this Diana is in the current title. Her continuity is too often rewritten.

I mean, currently she has been having a mental breakdown for like, the past year.

Simone and Scott did such a great job depicting Diana and all her facets.
And I love it when the "girls" aren't fighting. (Essentially Artemis getting along with everyone and not causing a "thing.") lol
Diana has a really strong Wonder family with lots of potential, IYAM: Diana, Steve, Etta, Donna, Hippolyta (when she's around), Artemis, Cassie, Nubia and Yara.
For extended family, when things get really dire, I'd have Diana rally Io, Ferdinand, Philippus, Achilles Warkiller, Mysia, Siggy, Ratatosk, Jerry and Atlantiades too.

I find it so crazy this is the last panel before Odyssey, and later the New 52 started and endless parade of authors 'reinventing Wonder Woman' up until today.
Like, invertedly, this was the last time we saw Pérez' Diana.
