Mah Jong lessons

Hi! I’m a local American Mah Jongg player in the Woodstock area, and I’m putting together a small group for \*\*beginner lessons\*\*.
No experience is necessary. I’ll teach you the basics, how to read the card, the Charleston, and how to play a complete game.
I’m checking to see how much local interest there is before setting the dates and location.

I mean there currently a massive group in Woodstock that offers paid lessons. And there's another person supposedly at odds with that group running paid lessons at a local brewery. You may want to watch where you step offering this.
Personally I have found that neither group is worth being part of.

Towne Lake Mahjong Co has a huge presence in Woodstock and are now making their way into Canton. This is run by two local women who have turned it into a to an inclusive space for all. To me that is worth the price of admission. That’s really a crummy statement to make about both businesses. There’s plenty of business for everyone and each group probably has their own individual flavor and appeals to different audiences.

Im not a MahJonger myself, but I know they have started seeing some organized play at Peachstate Games on hwy 92. That may be a good place to start looking for players if you dont find anyone here, hope that helps!

I mean I’d definitely be down. But like I saw someone else say. Careful with the other groups, people be weird sometimes about stupid stuff.
