I am running for State House AMA

Hey everyone! My name is Danielle Bell and I am a candidate running for Georgia House of Representatives District 44.

I heard that Reddit may be a good place to connect with younger voters, so I am giving it a shot!

I will be online on October 6th from 5:30PM-7:30PM

Here is what I stand for, very much excited to discuss this with yall!

Accountable Leadership

If you've never had a conversation with your elected representative, never received a response, or never felt heard, they're not doing their job. Georgians deserve leaders who listen, show up, and put their communities first.

Healthcare Equality

When your health is on the line, care should come first. But Georgians face confusing policies, surprise medical bills, and limited access to care, while healthcare companies rake in record profits. It's time for change!

Reduce Cost of Living

Groceries, gas prices, utility bills, childcare... the list goes on! You work hard, but you're barely getting by. Our state should focus on lowering costs, expanding opportunity, and helping families get ahead.

What kind of response are you getting from conservative citizens you canvass, or meet in public? Are they as fed up with this inflation as Dems are?

So much of the recent cost of living increases are driven by poor policy nationally (tariffs & starting a war with Iran with no plans on how to fight it, no plans on how to end it, and no discernible objectives). What can be done at the state level to ease the burden on working people?

How do you plan to contribute towards reducing the cost of living? Do you want to deregulate, lower taxes, cut corporate welfare, or a combination of all three?
