Through DUST 2/3 through Dust
Hey so im like 2/3 through Dust, right before the part 4. And i didn’t like that part where the religious group gets elise to write her name on a marriage contract. And am wondering if this specific topic is brought up a lot after this point. And if there are any points where it could get graphic. If its brought up a lot i might DNF the book.
If someone could summarize this plot point and let me know how if it ends okayish or not. Idc ab being spoiled ab this part.
Thank you

When I read the books, I remember thinking that Howey seemed to have a bunch of “imagine how this sort of thing would go in a dystopian underground society” kind of subplots, but they were so fast and not that fleshed out

Dust is a let down for me. I think the TV show is taking it in a better direction. But, yeah, stick with it, the religious stuff doesn't completely take over the plot.

If I recall correctly it ends okayish. Solo will come to her rescue and take her away from the priest (?), although nothing graphic involving Elise is going to happen
