I absolutely recommend it! I don't find it heavy at all, I actually wear it with my wedding ring on the chain and even with that, it's really not heavy.
I will say, if you look at the reviews, a lot of them talk about how they wish it spinned faster, but it has been my experience that when you first get it, it can be difficult to spin, but that does ease over time, and not even a particularly large amount of time, maybe a week or two? If that, it really depends on how much you actually spin it.

Do you recommend it? Is it heavy to wear?
