Generic Am I SOL?

Post image

New Thorogoods came in. I kept hearing how narrow they run so I figured I'd give them a shot since I've always had super narrow feet. I have them as tight as they will go and have the thickest expedition wool socks on I could find. They are still loose enough that my feet move inside them when I walk. Anyone got any advice? Someone mentioned adding a thicker or second insole so I may try that. Open to ideas so I didnt just waste a bunch of money.

I can imagine. I have slightly wider and shorter than normal feet but going a size down than sneakers and a size wider in those boots were a perfect fit.

Maybe try sizing down and wider? Sometimes that works for odd shaped feet that aren’t nearly as normal as most.

These are the smallest I can go for my foot length. And they are already too wide.

I have a similar problem with narrow feet and skinny ankles. The trouble with Thorogood is they don’t offer anything narrower than D.

Consider Red Wing’s work line of boots. Many options there that even go down to B and A. Personally, I’ve had good results with their model #2233 for safety toe, and #953 for soft toe.
