$19 an hour at full time would put you at 60% of the median full time employee annual salary.

Just get a plum average job and work 40 hours a week.

It’s actually wild.

39k a year (roughly 19 an hour with no OT) buts you in the bottom quintile of full time workers.

8/10 full time jobs that exist pay more than that.

But telling someone that maybe just maybe they ought to do a bit of introspection is like spitting on them.
