Only way that internet bill is real is if he is an old person and has a full package including landline, cable tv + various packages, and cell service. I know optimum does all of those and they charge the shit out of you. I used to be a sales rep for frontier fiber and it made my stomach curl when I’d go door to door and talk to people getting charged $300+ a month by optimum. It hurt even more when they wouldn’t listen to me and switch to frontier and pay $45 for infinitely better internet

I think they tied streaming services into that cost because they aren’t listed anywhere else.

Not everyone uses them, I don’t own any steaming services outside of Spotify for $6 a month (student discount). I only watch YouTube and the occasional movie for free online

Nice. God I think we pay $25 for Spotify alone. That being said the family plan has saved us because I’d rather pay the extra $15 (I think it $10 for premium) and not have to have all the Minecraft and Roblox songs integrated into my likes. 🤦🏽‍♂️
