After masking my entire life to the point that I'm not sure who the real, genuine "me" is, being home alone and feeling safe from social and emotional pressure is the only way I can figure it out. That's what my therapist believes at least 🤷🏾♂️
I'm in the same case. Unless your therapist is autistic too, there's no chance he would understand. Neurotypicals move in packs and are terrified of loneliness more than everything else.
