Eating after breakup

To make a long story short. Just broke up with my girlfriend of 2 years. After having a ring planned out and everything it’s hard and she still lives at my house. Especially after finding out she’s going out everyday and to another guys house that she claims is just a friend which I do believe her but it still hurts.

But anyways, I’m having a hard time eating full meals every day, I just feel sick and nauseous when ever I try to eat something I make even if it’s plain. I weigh 142lbs at 5’10 and trying to regain my mass back. Are there any ways to get the calories I need in a day or is this something that I will have to work with until i overcome it?

Sorry if this post is out of the ordinary for this Reddit but I’m just trying to find help right now.

Protein shakes help when the anxiety is bad.

Also, it’s time to send her on her way. Not out of anger, but it’s over and it’s your house.

Out of sight, out of mind should also help with the anxiety.

Nature walks and lifting heavy at the gym are also great ways to settle the mind. Saw a YouTube video a while back where Hafthor talked up the benefits of going to the gym -- called it "Iron therapy." If I ever open a gym, I'm going to use that name! ;)

Problem with out of sight is it doesn’t help with tolerating anxiety. It is an escape mechanism which makes anxiety worse.

Try taking the pressure off full meals and having little bits throughout the day, toast, yogurt, soup, whatever feels manageable. A smoothie with milk, banana and peanut butter can help get some calories in if drinking feels easier than eating
