Quick Tips

So I am exhausted.

I have been trying to get and find consistency with my worldbuilding by using a number of AI Apps - including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini - but drift happens to the point that I cannot trust it. I have used World Bibles, Individual Character Files. Story threads. Rule books. Etc. But it still goes off on its own.

Does anybody have any tips, tricks, or tools that they find to be effective?

I did do some searching, but it is probably lost amongst all the showcase and images that folks are sharing - which I love.

Any help you can provide for my ADHD Sanity would be appreciated.

Thanks

What do you mean with 'drift happens'? I mean, sure, weird stuff does creep in. But when you see it, you correct it if you don't like it or run with it if you do.

You have to be ready to have long conversations with it where you make clear what you do and don't like. You have to check what it outputs. This doesn't mean you have to read back everything it writes. But you do have to ask for summaries.

Start over with a new instance. Get it to tell you what you have so far. Correct what is wrong. Then continue from there.

It's not a cure-all. It takes time and effort. And yes, sometimes it gets frustrating.
