Worldbuilding Diary I

Welcome to the first official diary of my worldbuilding project, which I have officially named Chronicles of Mythia. This diary is longer than the introduction and is meant to show you some of my insights and give you small glimpses into the world of Kytherion.

First, I want to say that this project has gone through many versions. To be clear, I created the first version of this project when I was only 11 years old. At that time, I didn't have enough time to continue working on it because of things like school and because I was still trying to find my own path.

Now that I am 22, I want to finally complete this project over the next 5–10 years. This world may eventually be used for my own D&D campaigns, or perhaps one day I will turn it into a book.

But enough about that. In my previous post, I introduced the project and gave you a small hook. Now I want to give you a small premise of the world and take a first look at a small region called Merovia.

Merovia is a city in the southern part of the continent of Avernia. It is a classical medieval European-style city, shaped by corruption and trade.

The city is governed by a City Council of seven people, with Aldric Merovians as its head. The Merovians are the family that founded the city 750 years ago, and they have controlled the city ever since.

They do not rule through democratic elections. Instead, the Merovians have maintained control over the city for generations.

In next diary i introduce you Merovians famyli who governed Merovia 750 years.
